This page will show off some of the most recent projects we have worked on the last few months. We will try to refresh the pictures every once in awhile. What you will see is a collage of work in progress. It might not be perfect. It might be a little dusty, but if you let your imagination run free you can see how we transform a rough pile of boards into artistic treasures.

Mixed Idaho barnwood in 1 3/4" thick octagon table top with a steel base.

Do you want to know something exciting about these doors? They are going make somebody very happy, but it is kind of a secret. You will have to stay tuned to ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to find out what lucky family gets to enjoy these barn door sliders lovingly made with historic Idaho barn wood.
Here are a couple options of doors that we now stock for your convenience. These make great authentic slabs to be used as barn door sliders and track hardware. There are available in 36, 42, 48" widths up to 8' tall. Check out our FAQ page for more information.
Two separate skip sanded oak exterior doors. Both 2 1/4" frames with 1 1/4 foam core panels. Left door is 30 x 84" with just two panels, and right door is three panels and 42" wide. This is a variation of a door we keep in stock that you can see more about on our FAQ page. We modified our stock 3 panel door that is 42 x 96" to fit this customer's existing openings.
Is that a HUGE DOOR or just a LITTLE MAN? One may not put this door on their dollhouse closet. Slightly on the large side at 2 1/4" thick, 7' 2" wide, and 9' 2" tall this slider makes a statement. Engineered to stay stable and achieve the look the customer wanted, we were still able to make an oversized door yet keep the weight manageable. The frame is solid wood, the panels are 1/4" veneer over foam core, and the door only weighs 225 pounds. We are anxious to see how this reclaimed wood door looks mounted on the barn door track hardware.
This barn door slider was built very similar to the one above. It is 2 1/4" thick made out of a pine/fir mix with a skip sanded texture. The three flat panels have the grain direction going horizontal. This door does not have a finish on it, whereas the one above has a clear satin coat.

Interior oak door. These were manufactured using reclaimed fence boards off of Kentucky horse farms. Generally we machine and sand this kind of wood more heavily so it tends to not have the skip sanded appearance with the mixed texture showing. It still definitely looks interesting and reclaimed, but it is different than our normal skip sanded oak.

Reclaimed chestnut with copper panel insert. This custom designed door was made exactly to the specifications provided by the customer. It is a beautiful durable exterior door. The 2 1/4" frame surrounds the 1 1/4" thick panels that have a cozy (keep the winter out) foam core. This copper panel insert just shows that we can add anything you like to customize the door.
Pair of sliding barn doors- Each door is 2" x 48" x 101". These doors shown are currently unfinished and done with are random skip sanded reclaimed oak. The panels are 1 1/4' overall with a foam core, which makes these very large hardwood doors surprisingly light.
reclaimed oak door Interior skip sanded oak door package. This is mixed texture and mixed oak species. The braces are applied over a 3/4 solid wood panel.
Here is a door we try to keep in stock for barn door/ sliding track applications. At 1 3/4" thick, 42" wide, and 84" tall it makes an impressive statement, yet has much versatility. Use one or as many as you like mounted on the flat track hardware; this is our most popular request. This particular door is made from reclaimed barn wood pine and fir with an engineered recycled content core. The panels are rusty galvanized metal over a foam core and triple pane glacier glass. You can choose multiple panel options. In the two wood panel with the 6 lite triple pane glacier glass this door is delivered anywhere in the lower 48 for $1900 each with additional discounts for multiple items.
Barn door sliders with rusty galvanized metal panels and applied brace. These were left original full rough grey texture. Machined edges are stained grey to match.
These doors are perfectly flat yet still maintain the original barn wood grey texture. All material is done with 1/4" thick veneers to maintain consistent tolerances. This customer chose to leave the original rough texture and the doors will not be sanded. If you really want an authentic barn door look this one option that you could consider.

Here is a flush plank door built with random width skip sanded pine/ fir barn lumber. The dimensions are 1 7/8" x 48" x 7' 8". It will have some neat glass put in the opening and be divided into a six lite pattern and then mounted on sliding track hardware. The flush plank door package is usually our most affordable option. This flush plank style has lots of options to mount hardware and wood braces for decoration on the surface. One can cut any number of patterns into it for glass, too. It makes for a large impressive sliding / barn door application.
